This might be a tad off-topic but I was having some battery issues with my iPhone 4 recently. With a little research I was able to resolve my issues…for now. Here’s how I fixed it.
Adjust Time Zone Auto-Set
The first thing we need to do is tell the iPhone to stop trying to determine what time zone we’re in all the time. There seems to be some bug in iOS that sometimes causes the p
hone to continually check where it’s at. That’ll eat up battery life in no time. The only caveat is that you have to manually update your time zone settings when you travel. I’m not rich so I don’t have to worry about this very often.
Delete and Re-add Outlook Accounts
I’ve hear this works too. I also deleted and re-added the one Outlook e-mail account I had on the phone.
I don’t know which one of these was the one that actually fixed it since I did them both at the same time. What I DO know is that the phone is back to normal and that’s good enough for me.
Hope this helps you too!
